Stock a client takes gets tracked through a clear lifecycle: Draft → Pending → Approved → Reconciled → Completed (or Cancelled at any point, with stock correctly restored). Every stage has its own screen, on both the admin and client side.

This handles the other half of WooCommerce's order picture — the stock you're buying from suppliers, not the sales you're fulfilling to customers. Products get tagged with a supplier, orders get built up over time, and when you're ready to reorder, each supplier gets their own itemised email automatically — no manually splitting a spreadsheet by vendor.

Managing suppliers

• A supplier registry — contact, email, phone, address — with CSV export.
• Assign a supplier to any product straight from the WooCommerce products list, propagating automatically to every variation.

Building an order

• Add to a running pending order from the product page, a footer mini-cart, or in bulk via a Wholesale Order Wizard integration.
• Quantity and unit cost editable per line — unit cost defaults to whatever was last paid for that exact variation, pulled from order history.

Sending it

• Submitted orders split automatically by supplier and go out as individual itemised HTML emails — product, SKU, weight, quantity, unit cost, line and order totals.
• Order status flips to "sent" once every email clears — partial failures get reported back, never silently swallowed.

Why it's built this way

Four dedicated database tables — suppliers, orders, order items, pending cart — rather than piggybacking on WooCommerce's own order post type. Purchase-order data and customer-order data stay cleanly separated, so one never contaminates or confuses the other.
